ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION : |

| a) |
Students must have passed the two year PUC Examination of the PUC Education Board of Karnataka or any other examination recognised and Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects with minimum of 50% of marks in the aggregate of the relevant science subjects(Physics, Chemistry and Biology) of the second year PUC Examination only. Preference will be given to candidates knowing Sanskrit. |

Candidates who have passed BSc part 1 degree Examination of any University of Karnataka State or any other equivalent exam conducted by satutory Universities or Boards with Science subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany and Zoology and have secured atleast 50% of the aggregate are eligible for admission to 1 BAMS provided the candidate has passed the PUC examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology. |

Candidate who have passed B.Sc. Degree examination of any University of Karnataka Stateor of any other University recognised as equivalent there to with any 3 science subjects and secured at least 50% of marks in the aggregate of the science subjects are eligible for admission to the first year BAMS course provided they have passed in the deficient sceince subject (s) viz., Physics r Chemistry or Botany and Zoology at the Pre University or B.Sc. Part 1 Level. |

However in the case of students beloging to SC/ST/Category 1st the minimum requirement in precentage of marks for admission to the first BAMS course is relaxed by 10% of marks. |

Candidates should attain the ae of 17 years as on 1st Octomber of the year of admission. | |

GENERAL : |
| |
| 1. |
Candidates who have passed AISCCE conducted by CBSE, New Delhi, but failed in any one of the cognate subjects of the qualifying examinations are not eligible for admission to higher class where those subjects are prescribed as qualifying subjects for admission to a course. |
| 2. |
In some cases, it is noticed that All India Senior School Certificate Examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education. New Delhi, the candidates who have offered Physics, Chemistry abd Biology abd Mathematics, Subjects ar the said examination and failed in any one of the above subjects is declared as "PASS" by board as per their regulation. Such candidates are not eligible for admission to degree in Medical and other Health Science Courses in RGUHS unless he/she has passed Physics, Chemistry and Biology and and/or Physics, Chemistry and Maths candidates who have secured 50% in all four subjects of Physics. Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics together are however, eligible for B. Pharma only. |

The Candidates belonging to Backward tribe ot category 1st of outside Karnataka State (Other than SC/ST) are not eligible to claim the relaxation in the precentage minimum in their qualifying examination. | |

Indian nationals who have passed their qualifying examinations conducted by recognised board by satutory University within or Out sidethe state of Karnataka, but within the country seeking admission for various coursed should get eligiblity certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Bangalore by paying Rs. 1000/- fees and required documents. |

RULES OF DISCIPLINE FOR STUDENTS |

| 1. |
The working hour of college will be between 9 AM to 4 PM |
| 2. |
The students shall wear clean and decent dress approved by the Principal |
| 3. |
The student shall wear the Apron with Identity card compulsory in the premises of the college |
| 4. |
As per stipulation of the University attending Theory & practical classes is compulsory |
| 5. |
Attending examination conducted by the college and University from time to time is compulsory |
| 6. |
Students should maintain discipline and good conduct through out their period of study in the college |
| 7. |
During the theory classes hours and practical, the students wandering in the corridors or standing for group discussions is strictly prohibited |
| 8. |
Whenever the classes are not engaged due to any reasons the students must attend Library or any departments for concerned subject discussions |
| 9. |
Other than academic activities like sports, cultural activities, seminars, the committees will be formed and the Principal will nominate the office bearers. No elections will be conducted for any reasons |
| 10. |
The ragging of the students in the college premises or anywhere is strictly prohibited. Students involved in this process will be punished as per the rules of University and Government |

Every students admitted is bonded by the prevailing rules and regulations of the college and those that would be framed from time to time |

Whenever the students break the rules and regulations of the Institution, the Principal will take disciplinary actions to the extent of canceling the admission also |
